Examples of proper ID needed in order to get documents notarized..These should be unexpired or if expired, issued within 5 years prior to the expiration date:

• Drivers License
• State I.D. card
• Passport
• Consular card, City
• State or Federal government issued ID card
• Tribal ID card
• Inmate ID card​

Please be sure your document is filled out and if sections are not applicable, please indicate that on the document by putting an X through it. It is a violation of New Jersey law for a Notary Public to notarize an incomplete document. This law is to protect the signer from someone fraudulently entering additional information on your document, after it is out of your possession.
